Describe the walk

RM.Gait is a tool dedicated to the analysis of walking, combining and synchronizing the data collected by wireless motion sensors, a walking platform and a webcam.

Integrated protocols instantly provide spatiotemporal parameters of thewalking and also 3D angular movements of the ankle, the knee and the hip.

In addition, the system includes automatic comparison :

  • Of tests performed, bare feet, wearing shoes or with the correction set by the practitione.
  • of left and right sides for all the joints of the leg.

Technologies and data synchronized

RM.Gait benefits from the contribution of several technologies to provide the most accurate and the most complete measurements (length and frequency of the step, video synchronization, valgus, varus…)

For each joint are represented the movements on 3 axis :

  • Frontal (flexion / extension),
  • Ttransversal (internal / external rotation of the hip and the knee and ankle adduction / abduction),
  • Sagittal (adduction / abduction of hip, yawning of the knee and the ankle pronation / supination).

The system also allows recording the movements of the spine while walking.

The walking platform, provides, pressures and their distributions for each support, distances and times of each phase (support left / right side, double support) of the walking.

Restart to walk

To assist in walking recovery, RM.Gait includes exercises for different goals of rehabilitation.

Sensors are positioned on the selected joint (hip, knee, ankle) to start rehabilitation of the step while working simultaneously on the right limb and the left limb.

In free mode / controlled pace / following a rhythm :&nbspThe patient must reach an amplitude for the selected joint, successively with the right limb and then left limb. To achieve this aim, the exercise can be set with 3 modes: free mode, with a specific rate selected by the practitioner or following a speed of movement.
